La Pizzeria, Colaba

I tried out a newly opened pizzeria in SoBo! Here’s a quick review as to why you should be trying this place out!

If you like Italian grub: try this place out for once. The taste and quantity will justify the price! Run by a mother/son duo, this place needs to be discovered by more of us who like a good and non Indianised pizza or pasta for once.

The breads are made in-house and you will see that with the base of pizza and the garlic bread you order.

Aglio olio is served hot and with just the right amount of sauce and seasoning. I couldn’t stop myself from eating this

Gnocchi with spinach and mozzarella: order if you really are a fan of gnocchi! Will not disappoint.

Pizza- a variety to choose from! I was in splits and finally decided on pizza Marcos and al pesto to get an idea of the sauce, base, cheese and pizza overall. 12 inch pizza is approximately for 570 avg per. Sauces to choose from, red, pesto, cream and without cheese.

For dessert we had the Nutella pancake which was not a pancake but a crepe dripped in Nutella and can easily say was a good choice to end the meal on a sweet note.

Recommended to go here, but if you’re too fussy about seating/ambience/place- is suggest you order in from this sweet little place in colaba (opp jia the oriental kitchen)
