Shared working space is the new thing that everyone is exploring, since a similar format launch a couple of months ago, the need for this has been on the rise. Mumbaikars have accepted this trend with open arms after all, where else would you get to work out of an office where all you have to worry is about showing up. I recently visited the new collaborative workspace in Birla Centurion, Worli – CoWrks, which is spread over three floors. The first floor of this space has been kept bare to see what Mumbaikars are looking for and how they are going to utilize the space to its optimum capacity. The second and third floors are decorated and created with various colourful art pieces, wallpapers which have a very welcoming and inviting vibe – just what you would look for in a place you would like to work.
Here is more information on CoWrks:
CoWrks which is among India’s first large format office space operator, comes as an answer to all those millennials who are trying to take the world in their stride with their new ventures. The sprawling new office space in Worli, is spread across 65,000 sq.ft in Birla Centurion which is a prime location in the area, overlooking the Kamala Mills.
They have the seating capacity of over 700 people, high-speed wireless internet, a fully stocked fuel bar and the best gourmet coffee in town to help keep the energy level up. Their initiative aims at free flowing exchange of ideas and knowledge that leads to the swapping of skill sets, enhancing their capabilities. The workstations can be accessed 24*7, with an opportunity to build strong network, interact, collaborate and make associations with some of the best in the industry. The vibrant look and feel of the place is supported by the art pieces curated for this place by Floating Canvas Co,. I look forward to working from here, organizing workshops/meetings and most importantly- networking! They don’t have a full fledged canteen however, they have coffee/tea and cookies available 24×7. With Kamala Mills right across the building, your food requirements will also be taken care of!
